Hello friends! My name is Denae Karber, welcome to the place where story telling and laughs are created and shared. I started this blog in hopes to get the average person outside and comfortable enjoying nature. Whether it was camping, hiking, backpacking, swimming holes, or road trips; I wanted to help anyone around.

I am passionate about answering questions and sharing the things Ive learned from backpacking for the past 5+ years, I am Wilderness First Aid certified, and have taken multiple newbies backpacking and helped them prep and pack for the trip.

I am a military wife, so I often travel solo, this means I have a lot of solo adventure tips to share! I also worked as a waitress for 10 years to pay off college debt, so that I could make travel a full time job! Now I am super passionate about traveling on a budget and making exploring a priority. I have lived in 4 different states in the past 5 years and have collected lessons and adventures from all of them. I hope to be able to help beginners and seasoned adventurers get out more and be more confident exploring!
